Omu Peak from Bucegi Mountains, is ranked eleventh among mountain peaks in Romania. Located in the Bucegi Massif, representing the highest point of this mountain. Its altitude is 2.505 meters.
On the Omu Peak is a chalet and a weather station, Weather Station Omu Peak, which can be considered the highest place in Romania permanently inhabited.

Can be reached by cable car and then on foot. Cable car from Busteni up to Babele (2.206 m) then 2.5-3 hours by foot to Omu Peak (follow mark Yellow Strip).
By foot from Busteni to Omu Peak lasts 7-8 hours (follow mark Blue Cross to Babele and then follow Yellow Strip).
